E-PTF: Peoplesoft Test Framework Errors with "Protected Mode settings are not the same for all zones" on Windows 10 Enterprise (Doc ID 2770286.1)

Symptoms

When PeopleTools Test Framework (PTF) plays back tests using Internet Explorer 11, with all security zones having the "Enable Protected Mode" check boxes disabled and running on Windows 10 Enterprise, the following error occurs.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install and configure the PTF client on a Windows 10 Enterprise workstation.

2. Open Internet Explorer 11, navigate to Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab.

3. For each Zone (Internet, Local intranet, Trusted sites, Restricted sites), clear the check box next to Enable Protected Mode.

4. Using PTF, play back a test while selecting Internet Explore 11 as the browser.
