Symptoms

Unable to ping the new upgrade to Elasticsearch 7. The following error appears on the "Search Instance" page when we hit the [Ping] button:

Navigate to

PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Search Instance

Click on the [Ping] button.

The following error occurs.

 

Changes

We had moved the servers where Elasticsearch resides to a new network in our data center.

We did not change the host name of Elasticsearch though. Just the network it belongs to.
