E-COB: New Visual COBOL Development Hub 6 Installation Returns "WARNING: Unable to locate valid Micro Focus product at location /opt/microfocus/VisualCOBOL" (Doc ID 2771489.1)

Issue:

Site Downloaded Visual COBOL development hub version 6 from Oracle's edelivery cloud. This is a new install of the product on a new server.  Although, this is a new install, when installing the product, the following message is received during the install, suggesting that the install is attempting to upgrade.

WARNING: Unable to locate valid Micro Focus product at location
  /opt/microfocus/VisualCOBOL

  To upgrade, ensure COBDIR references an existing valid product
  installation. For a fresh installation, ensure COBDIR is unset
  before re-running the installer.
