Event Definition Parameters Incorrectly Defaulted On 3C Engine Run Controls (Doc ID 2771629.1)

Last updated on JULY 03, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Campus Community - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On 3C Engine run-control page, the communication key data is not defaulting in from the current effective-dated row of the Event Definition setup. Instead, it defaults in from previous effective-dated row.

Navigation: Home > Campus Community > 3C Engine > Run 3C Engine

(1) In Event Definition, create a new effective dated record for AD_ADMA using yesterday's date with blank values for Communication Key, Comment Category and Checklist Code

(2) Add new run control ID in Run 3C Engine with Institution = PSUNV and Function ADMA

(3) Select AD_ADMA from the Event ID prompt, note the Communication Key, Comment Category, Checklist Code and associated checklist items default in the from the previous 01/01/1900 row

Note: If values are defined in the most recent effective dated Event Definition then the defaulting is working as expected from that record, the issue is only when one of the values is blank in the current record
