E-PG: Getting Error (268,1115) When Running Pivot Grid With no Y-Axis Defined (Doc ID 2771648.1)

Symptoms

The following error message is received when running a Pivot Grid with no Y-axis defined in Step 4:

(No Msg): ExecuteForChart. (268,1115) PT_PACKAGE.PT_PGInformation.OnExecute Name:ExecuteChart
PCPC:109195 Statement:1798
Called from:PTPG_WIZ_DISP.Activate Statement:422

In App Server log file, the following error message will be displayed:

Y-axis values are masked for query %s for the model %s

Note: App Server log file can be located on the app server at <PS_HOME>/appserv/<domain>/LOGS.


The issue can be replicated running the below steps:

  1. Login into PIA.
  2. Navigate to Reporting Tools > Pivot Grid > Pivot Grid Wizard.
  3. Search for a Pivot Grid model with no Y axis defined in Step 4.
  4. Open the pivot grid model.
  5. Go to Step 5.
  6. The error will occur.
