E-PIA: Plus Sign Dropped From Punchout Ids When Cart Is Returned (Doc ID 2772054.1)

Symptoms

The plus sign (+) is being dropped from direct connect SupplierPartID when cart is returned to peoplesoft requisition after punch out. Upon dispatching the order to the Supplier, the item gets rejected because ID is incorrect.

For example, the initial SupplierPartID is TEST+ID. But when the punchout is complete and the cart is returned to PeopleSoft, the trace the results show that the + is replaced with a space: Value=TEST ID

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a punch out ePro requisition by selecting an item that has + in SupplierPartID name.
2. after returning to peoplesoft go to requisition line details .
3. Notice that + in supplierpartid is replaced by space
