SFP Reporting Load process SCC_SFP_LOAD Populates Duplicate Information in Reporting Tables for Students with Multiple ISIR or NSLDS Transactions (Doc ID 2772719.1)

Last updated on MAY 17, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Campus Community - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running the SFP Reporting Load process (SCC_SFP_LOAD), it populates delivered Reporting tables with duplicate information. For example, if the process is run for a student with one ISIR, and then the student submits a second ISIR, when the process is run for that student again, it will pull down both the original ISIR and the new ISIR.

The expectation is that for ISIR, the Load SFP Reporting process should check the <CpsTransactionNumber> in the FasIsirMatchedNotificationEvent and only invoke the ISIR web service if the CpsTransactionNumber is new and has not been previously processed, since the ISIR data for a CpsTransactionNumber should be static. Similarly the Load SFP Reporting process should also check the NSLDS ReceivedDate in FPOv2 and only invoke the Nslds web service if it is new and has not been previously processed.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Home > Campus Community > Student Fin Planning Interface > Load SFP Reporting Data.
  2. Populate all required values on the run control page.
  3. Run the process.
  4. Review the data loaded into the Reporting tables.
