Symptoms

PTSF_GENFEED AE process in ERMS PSJob PRCEMAIL stuck in 'Processing' status

When PTSF_GENFEED process is initiated, it is getting stuck in infinite loop at PTSF_GENFEED.ES_STAT.Step01

Below is the AE message log and the message below is repeating continuously:

 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Start ERMS from Setup CRM > Product Related > Multichannel Definition > Email > Define Server and Security > Batch User Monitor Form, Start/Stop ERMS Batch Process
  2. Check from PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor for PRCEMAIL job
  3. Click PRCEMAIL
  4. PTSF_GENFEED process stays in 'Processing' status and does not finish.
