SAIP: Grade Import Error 'Student does not exist in LMS' When Grade Source ID is BLACKBOARD

On the Grade Roster component, when clicking the 'Import Grades button, a pop up message displays on the page, indicating an error has occurred. A review of the Grade Error Report shows one or more rows with the error description "Student does not exist in LMS".
The issue occurs when the Grade Source ID is BLACKBOARD. The students are identified to exist in the Blackboard system with valid grades.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
- On Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > SA Integration Pack > Class Targets for the course, set the Grade Source ID to BLACKBOARD. Note that if the Grade Source ID is entered on Academic Institutions page, it will pre-populate on the class targets.
- Navigate to Curriculum Management > Grading > Grade Roster.
- Enter search criteria.
- Select Import Grades pushbutton.
- Note pop-up message and check Grade Error Report page for the log of the error with the description.
