Last updated on MARCH 31, 2022

Applies to:

Linux x86-64 on Oracle Public Cloud

Symptoms

On : 12 version, Managing Environments

When defining an environment template in Cloud Manager,  a newly created Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) or other VCNs do not appear in the available list.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.) Deploy Cloud Manager (CM) 12.
2.) Define a new VCN within OCI. This can be done by logging in through the OCI Console > Networking > Virtual Cloud Networks.
3.) Login to the CM 12 instance and click on Environment Template.
4.) Open your environment template and edit the custom attributes for your topology.
5.) On Network Settings, click on the pull-down menu to view the available VCN from the list. Notice that the new VCN or other VCNs are not on the list.

Changes

New Virtual Cloud Networks are created after deploying the Cloud Manager instance.
