E-FLUID: Personalization HPPC Option Default Value Set to Classic and 'Add to' Homepage Link Produces OnReady State Error 'unable to get property length of undefined or null reference' (Doc ID 2774193.1)

Symptoms

It was observed that there was a double logo and when users click "Add To" and then HomePage link it gives them an error.

OnReady State "unable to get property length of undefined or null reference."




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Upgrade to PT 8.57.12

2. Changed the PeopleTools Personalization HPPC Option Default Value from Fluid to Classic.

3. Add To link creates an error
