GPCHE: Swissdec Source Tax Reports Wrong Zero Amount For The Monthly Correction In Case Of Termination In Mid Month (Doc ID 2778069.1)

Last updated on MAY 20, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Switzerland - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Swissdec source-tax reports wrong zero amount for the monthly correction in case of TER in mid-month.

Termination of an employee in the mid of the month has been entered after the payroll of his last working month.

The retro-calculation results in a change of the source tax amount. The monthly source tax report (Swissdec) should mention the old source tax amount and the new, corrected one. But both amounts are of zero value.
The total annual amount is correct.
As per verification the readable table information is correct (GPCH_RP_0001).
Other corrections are correctly reported. So the problem is linked to the late mid month termination.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Terminate an employee in the mid of the month that has been entered after the payroll of his last working month.
