How to make Reported Time approvals not show up in fluid approvals tile?

Details:

We are using the Approval Process TLReportedTime. We have it set up to NOT NOTIFY in any way. It should route through Approvals, but without any email/worklist/push notification it should not show up in Fluid Approvals. This is because we want to use the Approval process to set the Reported Time rows to needing approval, but not use fluid approvals. The issue is that though we have disabled ALL notifications, the routing still is being pushed to the Fluid Approvals tile, which is incorrect.
