E-SEC: Unable To Authenticate Between Two Peoplesoft Applications via Single Sign-On Using OAM in the Same Browser. (Doc ID 2782225.1)

PeopleSoft HR & Finance Application 9.2 with different tools versions is unable to authenticate via OAM in the same browser.

If a user opens up a browser and provides credentials for a HCM domain, after authentication via OAM and signing into the HCM application, opens another tab in the browser and tries to open FSCM domain, it fails and the OAM trace shows that it is authenticated on OAM layer but rejected by the WebLogic serving the target application. Below is the error code in the URL.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Configure OAM SSO for HCM and FSCM applications.
2. Login to HCM
3. After opening the HCM application and click new Tab in the same browser and login to FSCM application
4. FSCM will give the error message in the URL - /?cmd=logout&errorCode=129&languageCd=ENG&
5. Same case in vice versa
