EPY: How Do You Run W-2 for Self Service Fluid Pages for Prior Years? (Doc ID 2783019.1)

Goal

Need to run W-2 electronic forms for prior years to make W-2s available to employees via PeopleSoft Self Service.

Running this for a prior year is creating a large document that is not deleted as well as individual documents that get removed and the application server was at 100% capacity.

Navigation: Payroll for North America > U.S. Annual Processing > W2 Reporting > Create W-2 PDF Forms

Are the PDFS stored in the system, if so how are they secured, or does the data get stored in the Database and get rendered into a .pdf W-2 only upon the user request?
When this process runs what is the large file created that does not get deleted?
Is there a way to avoid creating the large form at the end?
