E-ES: 'java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space' While Crawling Search Definitions With Attachments

Symptoms
When crawling an index with attachments, in this case ES_AP_VOUCHERS, the scheduled job was erroring out with
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
[ERROR][c.p.p.e.s.o.n.OrclSSLNetty4HttpServerTransport] exception in SSL transport: Java heap space
[ERROR][o.e.t.n.Netty4Utils ] fatal error on the network layer
[ERROR][c.p.p.e.s.o.n.OrclSSLNetty4HttpServerTransport] exception in SSL transport: Java heap space
[ERROR][o.e.t.n.Netty4Utils ] fatal error on the network layer
as the ES_HOME/logs/ESCLUSTER.LOG was showing. Meanwhile, when one was trying to add/update vouchers in Accounts Payable > Vouchers > Add/Update the below error has been spotted in <PS_CFG_HOME>/appserv/<domain>/logs/APPSRV_MMDD.log:
