Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When generating Form12BA, employee's designation is not printed correctly for payees who have multiple Job data rows with different designations.

The job description is being fetched in alphabetical order and the first one is getting printed instead of the designation on the latest effective dated Job data row.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Identify a payee with multiple Job data rows with different designation.
2. Navigate to Main Menu> Global Payroll and Absence management> Year End Processing> Create Year End IND, Print the form 12 BA report by selecting process GPINF16R
3. Navigate to ESS to access the report, observe that the designations are sorted in alphabetical order and the first row is getting printed in the report instead of the Job code of the latest effective dated row.
