EEX 9.2: 400 Bad Request Error Message Triggered at Fluid Expense Report Line When Calculate GPS Distance Button Is Clicked On (Doc ID 2794035.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Calculate GPS Distance for a Fluid Expense Report Line, the system throws an Error Message.

REPLICATION STEPS:

     1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Expenses User
     2.- Go to the Employee Self Service Fluid Homepage
     3.- Click the Expenses Tile
     4.- Click the Create Expense Report Tile
     5.- On the Fluid Expense Report Header page, fill in all required fields (Business Purpose, Description, Default Location, etc...)
     6.- Select the Expense Report Action of "Add Expense Lines"
     7.- At the Fluid Expense Report Line Entry page, select the Expense Type "Automobile Mileage"
     8.- Populate the Starting Point, and Ending Point field with a given address
     9.- Click the "Calculate GPS Distance" button
     10.- The system is throwing an Error Message

ERROR MESSAGE:

 


Due to this Error Message, the Expenses Users are unable to get the Distance calculated for the entered transaction, and the Display Map feature is not working as per expected either.

The system should be able to properly calculate the Distance on KMs or Miles as needed, generate the Expense Amount field using the defaulted Distance Rate, and properly display the Oracle Maps graph needed.
