EAR9.2: What is The Best Way to Migrate Document Definitions between Environments as Data Gets Truncated in Long Field in Peoplesoft Table (Doc ID 2794304.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2021

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Receivables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]

Goal

There is one custom record which has one long field at the end.

For some reason, when data is loaded into the application using data import / export utility, it is getting truncated to a random number of characters before loading in the long field.

Data Export Import Utility (App engine FS_MAP_PR) is used to load xml file into database tables and the issue seems to be in the way Peoplesoft Document parses the XML data and loads into the target tables.

What is the best way to migrate Document definitions between environments?

It seems that somehow not all related attributes/objects are getting migrated, which is causing the issue.
