E-PSADMIN: Configuring PSSQR Using PSADMIN for PS_CUST_HOME With Custom Suffix Causes Replication of Other PS_*HOME Variables With Same Custom Path Suffix (Doc ID 2795421.1)

Last updated on MAY 15, 2024

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using PSADMIN to configure a Process Scheduler domain for the SQR section in the PSSQR path to add a custom path suffix to PS_CUST_HOME causes PSADMIN to replicate the custom path suffix for other PS_*HOME variables as well causing unintended extra search paths to show in the PSSQR setting. The expectation is that whatever PS_CUST_HOME is set to, the other PS_*HOME variables should stay the same.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Set PS_CUST_HOME sqr folder location to '%PS_CUST_HOME%/mycust/sqr' and include '%PS_HOME%/sqr' as well
2. Configure domain
3. Observe path changed automatically to include other search paths with same ".../mucust/sqr" suffix where not intended
