Symptoms

When attempting to run the batch load external awards process, the following error occurs as displayed in the log output file for SFA_EA_LOAD:

 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Awards > External Awards > Load External Awards > Load External Awards and run the process.
  2. Click link to process monitor and note when process finishes in 'Error' or 'No Success' status
  3. Click details link for the process, then the link that says 'view log/trace', then the link for the SFA_EA_LOAD file in the file list and note the error at the end of the file.
