Batch Tuition Calculation Fails With 'Already Using Maximum Cursors' (Doc ID 2805013.1)

Symptoms

Batch Tuition Calculation fails when processing a large group of students after applying maintenance from PUM 22.  This issue occurs only for Australian customers, where HECS Deferral processing is being performed by Batch Tuition Calculation.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Student Financials, Tuition and Fees, Calculate Batch Tuition;
  2. Select a run control;
  3. Populate the run control to select a large group of students for processing. For example for a career;
  4. Submit the process to the process scheduler.


Changes

Applying the fix for Bug 31906453 - 2021 AUSTRALIA LOAN ENHANCEMENT, which is delivered in PUM 22 and higher has caused this issue.
