E-AWE: EOAWEMC Process Not Processing Email Approvals for Mac Users (Doc ID 2805218.1)

Symptoms

In PeopleTools 8.56/HCM 9.1 customer environment, EOAWEMC is running every 3 minutes and marks emails as read, but does not delete emails from the user's mailbox. Also, the Approval message is not generated, the EOAW_EMC Queue is not processed, and the Queue cannot be viewed in the Integration Broker (IB) Service Operation Monitor. Only Mac Operating System (OS) users (using Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard) are affected. Email approvals and approval emails function as expected for Windows users. When the same approvers re-sent the failed approval email from Windows, it was processed successfully.
