Prepaid utilization processor (CA_PPD_UTL) which is called by the Process As Incurred Billing (CA_BI_INTFC) is no longer creating the UTL rows based on the configuration where the prepaid's “Utilize Against All Lines” and “Contract Line Num” fields are left blank and the Utilization Criteria is specified using Utilization Criteria link.

Replication Steps:

  1. Created a contract with multiple contract lines.
  2. Created Prepaids with one of the Prepaids linked to two contract lines on the Utilization Criteria; Both ‘Use for all contract lines’ and ‘Contract Line Num’ fields are left blank for this prepaid sequence on the Utilization tab of the prepaids.
  3. Initial bill for prepaid (Immediate Billing) processed all the through billing and back to contracts by running billing processes and then BIPCC000 process.
  4. Costs are accumulated in the project associated with the Contract line that is one of the lines included in the prepaid described in (b) above.
  5. Costs are billed by running CA_BI_INTFC (Customer Contracts > Schedule and Process Billing > Process As Incurred Billing) and other billing processes.
  6. Noticed Utilization rows are not created.
