Sample scenario: A Pool variable (e.g. RowSet, Array of String variables) is being used in an online (PIA) Component, and the Component is referenced by a stateful Component Interface (CI) variable (e.g. Global). When the logic behind the user returning from the external site in an applications component (e.g. eProcurement) is executed, some component variables may become NULL, resulting in PeopleCode errors such as "First Operand of . is NULL..."
NOTE: Pool Variables are component scope variables inside the PIA Component pointed to by the CI.
