Goal

In this particular case, after applying  PeopleTools patch 8.59.04 to  PeopleTools 8.59.01, when one deployed any search definition one obtained the error:

Index creation Failed : illegal_argument_exception (262,2012) PTSF_ES.ESIMPL.AdminService.OnExecute Name:AddIndexSettings PCPC:47968 Statement:641


Simultaneously the errorLog.html was showing this error:

{"error":{"root_cause":[{"type":"illegal_argument_exception","reason":"IOException while reading synonyms_path_path: <ES_HOME/config>/analysis/synonyms_psft_eng.txt"}],"type":"illegal_argument_exception"


What could be the cause and how to resolve it?
