Evidence of Insurability (EOI) for a Life Insurance Plan with Coverage Specified at Employee Level May Be Incorrect in Fluid Benefit Enrollment (Doc ID 2810328.1)

Last updated on MAY 02, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Life Insurance Plan with coverage specified at the Employee Level is selected in Fluid enrollment, the ENR_COVERAGE02 Text Message shown below displays.

Your Per-Pay_period premium rate for this plan is %1 per %2 of coverage.

You will be required to provide Evidence of Insurability if you choose a
   coverage amount of
$200,000 or greater.

The Evidence of Insurability (EOI) message will be displayed even if there is no EOI and, regardless of the amount that triggers it, the amount will always display as $200,000 as it is hard-coded

Steps to reproduce the issue:

     1. Employee navigates to Benefits Enrollment step of Open Enrollment (Navigation: Employee Self Service homepage > Open Enrollment tile, step Benefits Enrollment).
     2. Employee selects the Spouse Life tile.
