Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Should the Term Begin Date entered on the Set Up SACR, Product Related, Student Financials, Charges and Payments, SF Term Default reflect when batch tuition calculation is run for the students in the term, or when “Tuition Calculation Control” (Set Up SACR, Product Related, Student Financials, Tuition Calculation, Tuition Calculation Controls) has the term entered for the career / term? An example is Summer Batch Tuition Calculation starts on May 2, 2021. Fall 2021 Term Batch Tuition Calculation begins on June 6, 2021. If the SF Default Term Setup for Fall 2021 uses an effective date of July 1, 2021, with a term start date of June 1, 2021. Summer 2021 SF Term Default setup uses an effective date of May 1, 2021, a Term Start Date of May 1, 2021 and a Term End Date of July 1, 2021.

Can there be an overlap of the Term End date for Summer 2021 term with the effective date on the Fall 2021 term?
