EEX 9.2: Creating Delivered View PS_EX_TR_LN_AW_VW2 Throws Invalid Command Error Message on DB2 Unix Database Due to H.EMPLID Out of Context (Doc ID 2813695.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 14, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Expenses - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

An SQL Error Message is being received on delivered View EX_TR_LN_AW_VW2 when executing the "Creating Views" Step during the implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.2 Image #40.

The Error Message states that there is an invalid command around "H.EMPLID" within the context where it is being used.

1.- Upgrade a specific environment to PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.2 Image #40
2.- Follow the guidelines and instructions, and execute the Step "Creating Views"
3.- Confirm that the Step errors out with a problem in one of the Views, delivered EX_TR_LN_AW_VW2

The erroring of the Creating Views Step is putting a halt into the tasks of implementing/upgrading the affected environment to FSCM 9.2 Image #40. As such, delaying any further testing phases, and potentially the rolling out of the new Image into Production.

The Creating Views Step should complete successfully, and the codeline delivered within SQL View PS_EX_TR_LN_AW_VW2 should not have any inconsistent, or invalid commands.
