Last updated on OCTOBER 28, 2021

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A change was performed to print the tax statement for those employees with a reversal retro change. When we have a change in hire date with retro, the tax report is false, it seems that the segment with storno leads to a wrong calculation of salary amount in tax statement. The issue only happens in case of the retro change generates a new segment. The new segment amounts are not adding to the tax salary total. This issue appears only in multi-contract employees.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data
2. Modify an employee for example in the month of June 2021 ( retroactively) to have termination date of 12-May 2021 and rehire on 12-May-201. Rehire with increased salary.
3. Run June 2021 calendar. June 2021 calendar is processed and finalized. As expected, May calendar is reversed and recalculated
5. Go to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Authority Correspondence > XML based reporting CHE ->Year end XML CHE and run the process ( with English as language)
Result: Tax statement for the employee has incorrect gross salary
