E-MCF/IB: Retrieving the Access Token Fails With a "Generic Error Integration Gateway: General Connection Failed (158,10836)" Error if the OAuth2 Server (Part of Azure Office 365) Requires an SNI Connection (Doc ID 2818332.1)

Symptoms

After setting up OAuth2 integration with Azure Office 365, a user performs the step to retrieve the OAuth2 "Access Token" to register, and after signing into Office 365, the new window returns with the error shown below:

 

 

Steps to replicate:

------------------------------------------------------------

1. Set up the mail server integration with Azure Office 365.

2. Log into PIA via a browser, and navigate to PeopleTools > Security > OAuth2 Administration > Authorized User.

3. Click 'Access Token' link

4. Sign in to the 3rd party OAuth2 Server

5. Observe the error above in the new window.
