Does PERSON_BASIC_SYNC Update PS_NAMES.PREF_FIRST_NAME in Campus Solutions (CS) When Installation Table Language is English? (Doc ID 2819185.1)

PERSON_BASIC_SYNC is not updating PS_NAMES.PREF_FIRST_NAME in CS, when the Installation table language is English. These are the steps being followed:

1. Configure PERSON_BASIC_SYNC between HR 9.2 (Publisher) and CS 9.2(Subscriber).
2. Add PREF_FIRST_NAME (Preferred First Name) in the existing Name Format Table001 (English) in HR under Set Up HCM > Foundation Tables > Personal > Name Format Types > Name Format Table
3. Login as Employee in HR Self Service and put in a Preferred First Name and save; OR update existing Name and add a Preferred First Name and save.
4. Check PERSON_BASIC_SYNC in HR, to verify the data exists for Preferred First Name in the PERSON_BASIC_SYNC publication xml.
5. Check in Campus Solutions, to verify data is also present in the subscription xml and message status is Done.
6. Check PS_NAMES table in CS. PREF_FIRST_NAME is blank.
7. In HR, PREF_FIRST_NAME is updated ok in PS_NAMES.

What is the expected behavior in this situation? When will PERSON_BASIC_SYNC update the PS_NAMES.PREF_FIRST_NAME in CS, and are there situations where it will not update?
