GPESP: ERE + IT Bases Recalculation In Case of Retiree (Doc ID 2821005.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 12, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying the tax updates 7, 8, and 9 from 2020, it has been detected that the ERE bases change in the months where an employee has ERE+ another absence.
It contributes to the "working hours * max hour", instead of for BRD ERE and this occurs only in the months where there is another absence processed before the ERE.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Run January 2020.Social Security base calculates as 4070,1

Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll

2. Convert the employee in pre-retired as of February 1st 2020

Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

o   New effective in job, part time , FTE=0,5, new contract

o   New contract 540

o   Inform CLI VR RED JORNADA =4

Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Assign Earnings and Deductions > One Time (Positive Input) select the Supporting Element Overrides

3. Run February, March and April

Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll

o   Social security base is calculated as 3459,59 which is 85% of the Base corresponding to Full time period

4. Enter IT absence in May whole month, and check results

Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absences > Absence Event ESP
