Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll UK - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The National Insurance category code “C” for Age Limits is calculated incorrectly.

In the UK, the law regarding the National Insurance for employees with Category code "C" was changed to 66 for all genders.

However, PeopleSoft still has logic that is enforcing 60 and 65 depending on gender.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Navigate to Global Payroll l & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Social Security/Insurance > Maintain NI Data GBR > Maintain NI Data GBR

Check the employee's National Insurance details.
