Goal
What are the implications of not having the PI on reporting role? There is a check box on the proposal on whether to add it to the award profile header or not. If unchecked it will not add the PI to the reporting role. But is there any impact on missing it out on the award?
The context of the question is coming from the community post.
How can I avoid emails being sent to Award PI (Principal Investigators) while sending them to other personnel such as contact milestones? Principal Investigator is populated in The Award - Reporting Role from Proposal since it's selected to be included in the award header. I don't want to add individuals to the Contact ID on each milestone - additional work is not desired.
