E-AWE: Approval Comment not Shown with Approved Journal when Using Email Approvals (Doc ID 2826992.1)

Symptoms

When a journal is approved using email approvals, approval comments are not shown on Approval tab of Journal in PIA, although the comments are shown for denial approvals.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open the Journal approval email.
  2. Populate Approval comment and select Approve for Action. 
  3. Submit the email.
  4. Run EOAWEMC process.
  5. Log into PIA and navigate to General Ledger > Journals > Journal Entry > Create/Update Journal Entries.
  6. Open the related Journal.
  7. Go to Approval tab and observe no approval comment.
