(Doc ID 2827666.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 13, 2021
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Receivables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When launching the Aging Detail by Unit Report (AR30003) SQR Report, and getting the output on CSV format, the results do not align the calculated Sub-Total Amounts for each Aging range period under each respective column.
REPLICATION STEPS:
1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Receivables User
2.- Navigate to: Account Receivable > Receivable Analysis > Aging > Aging Detail by Unit Rpt
3.- Create a new Run Control ID, define the needed criteria
4.- Launch the AR30003 SQR Report process, and make sure to select the output format to be CSV
5.- Navigate to: PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor
6.- Go to View Log/Trace page
7.- Open the generated CSV file
8.- Confirm that the Aging column range 61-90 has several transaction amounts listed. The Sub-Total amount resulting of the sum of such transactions is not aligned under the expected column 61-90, instead, it shows under Currency column.
To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps PDF Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.
Due to this issue, users get confused as to which Aging range period the calculated Sub-Totals belong to, and hence, perceived that the report is not accurate.
The Sub-Total Amount results obtained through the Aging Detail by Unit Report (AR30003) SQR Report should be properly aligned right under the Aging period range column they belong to.
