EGL9.2:Tree Drill Down for Account and Department Not Visible on Kibana Dashboards. Is this Tree Flattener Limit to Only Up To 15 Nodes? (Doc ID 2828383.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 15, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The tree drill down for Account and Department is not visible on Kibana dashboards.

In order for this drill down to work, Kibana Reporting tree Page needs to be configured:

Navigation: Main Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Operating Reporting > GL Kibana Tree Configuration
As mentioned in PeopleBooks:  PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management 9.2 > Products > Financial Management Solution > PeopleSoft General Ledger > Kibana Dashboards in General Ledger > Setting Up Kibana Dashboards for General Ledger

However, there is a pre-requisite for this configuration, and that is to run a Tree Flattener process:

Navigation: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Operational Reporting > Tree Flattener > Tree Flattener Request

When Tree Flattener was run, it completed successfully but still could not view the prompts.

It appears that there is limitation on the Tree Flattener process that a tree needs to be of 15 nodes or less, per PeopleBooks below:
PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management 9.2 > Products > Core Functionality > Application Fundamentals > Summarizing ChartFields Using Trees > Using Tree Flattener

For requirement to have Account and Department trees with more than 15 nodes, how to make this drill down enabled on Kibana dashboards?
