EGL 9.2 : Spreadsheet Journal Import Issue in DB2 Database

Symptoms
When importing a journal using Spreadsheet JRNL1_WS in DB2 database, journal data is captured in staging tables JRNL_HDR_STG and JRNL_LN_STG but not in base tables JRNL_HEADER and JRNL_LN.
Issue Replication Steps:
1) Enable document sequencing at installation level via Main Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options. Access Overall hyperlink and please enable document sequencing.
2) Enable doc. seq. for Business Unit via Main Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > General Ledger > General Ledger Definition > Definition Tab
3) In Spreadsheet Define Options and Defaults leave date field blank.
3) Key in rest of the data to the spread sheet
4) Run the import now

Issue was observed after applying PUM 39 of PeopleSoft FSCM.
