ELA 9.2: AM_AMAEDIST Process Creates Unbalanced Accounting Entries For An Interunit Transfer of Lease (Doc ID 2829389.1)

Symptoms

Accounting entries created by AM_AMAEDIST process are out of balance for an interunit transfer of lease.

Accounting entries with distribution type LO were not created for transfer-in leased asset.

Steps:

  1. Create a new Payable lease.
    Main Menu> Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Create New Payables Lease.
  2. Activate lease.
  3. Calculate depreciation.
    Main Menu > Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation.
  4. Create accounting entries.
    Main Menu > Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries.
  5. Transfer Lease to new business unit.
    Main Menu> Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Maintain Payables Lease.
  6. Calculate depreciation.
  7. Create accounting entries.
  8. Review accounting entries.
    Main Menu > Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Review Financial Entries.
