ECM: Bank Account Number is Not a Required Field When Searching for Bank Statements on the Enter Bank Statements Page

Goal
On the "Enter Bank Statements" Search page (Banking > Bank Statements > Enter Bank Statements), the "Bank Account #" field is not a required field.
However, per the BANK_STMT_PD_VW record in Application Designer, the BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM field is defined as Required.
Should not the "Bank Account #" field on the Enter Bank Statements page be a required field since the BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM field has the Required box checked on the BANK_STMT_PD_VW record?
