Error "First operand of . is NULL, so cannot access member SearchType." When Creating Express Entry Requisition While Having The Catalog Role Security Enabled (Doc ID 2833213.1)

Symptoms

Getting error message when enabling the catalog role security then trying to create a requisition using Express Entry form.




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Catalogs > eProcurement Catalog Security Option, and check the "AccessPolicy " check box
  2. Navigate to eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Catalogs > Catalog Security Types and check the " ROLENAME" Check box
  3. From Home page press on the eprocurement tile then press on create requisition tile
  4. Press on the Express entry from the left panel .
  5. Choose any item.
  6. Getting error message
