Gift Entry Results in Error 'Data being added conflicts with existing data' (Doc ID 2834825.1)

During entry of gifts into a session, an error sometimes occurs. When this error occurs, the same gift number is used in subsequent attempts for the same session.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Contributor Relations, Session Management, Gift Entry;
  2. Select a Session for a Business Unit;
  3. Enter the Gift information on the page;
  4. Click Save.
