Milestones Not Creating New Effective Date (Effdt) And Removing Previous Effdt In Batch Run (Doc ID 2835686.1)

Symptoms

The Milestone process will only delete a milestone by copying existing and completed milestones to a new effective dated row and deleting the milestone specified on the run control from this row if the latest effective dated row has multiple milestones. If the student has a single effdt row and the effective date on the run control does not match the effective date of the milestone to be deleted, nothing happens.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigation: Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Process Milestones
  2. Query or create a new Run Control
  3. Complete the Run Control parameters for the Process Milestone process for all students to delete a specific milestone and put today’s date on the run control
