Inserting a New Effective Dated Row on Optional Fees Per Term Page (OPT_FEE_TERM_VAL) Defaults Currency to USD (United States Dollar) (Doc ID 2837247.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Financials - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Inserting a new effective dated row on an Optional Term Fee uses a default currency code of USD.  When the first effective dated was entered on the Optional Term fee for the term, the base currency was used.   The Installation table and Student Financials Business Unit have been configured to use a base currency code that is not USD.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR, Product Related, Student Financials, Optional Fees per Term;
  2. Select an Optional Term Fee;
  3. For the term to be changed, click the + to insert a new effective dated row for the Term;
  4. Note the currency code on the new effective dated row is USD instead of the base currency.
