E-FTP: SFTP File upload failure, "Failure initializing sftp session: Timeout waiting for response from SFTP subsystem" (Doc ID 2847338.1)

Symptoms

Unable to perform SFTP file Attachment from Peopletools Test Utility Page and getting below errors.

Test Utility page:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to PIA
2. PeopleTools > Utilities > Debug > PeopleTools Test Utilities
3. For URL Id or String URL textbox, enter the URL Definition for the SFTP server, e.g. URL.SFTP_SERVER_TEST
4. Use "Attach" button to upload a test file
5. Select a file
6. Click upload
7. Unable to upload the file.
