"You cannot add this class due a time conflict with class 'Class Number'. Choose another class" on Enrollment Fluid Activity Guide When the Time Conflict In Class Option is 'Do Not Check' (Doc ID 2851691.1)

Symptoms

On Class Options Setup (Setup SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Fluid Self Service Setup > Class Search Setup > Class Option Setup) the "Time Conflict in class option" is set to "Do not check".

On Enrollment Security (Setup SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > User ID > Enrollment Security) on the Default Override option, the "Override Time Conflict" option is checked.

When a student try to enroll a new class with same meeting pattern for a previous one, using the Fluid Activity Guide, selecting the "Enroll" option on the "Step 3 of 4 - Enroll or Add to Cart" receive the following error:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Fluid Self Service Setup > Class Search Setup > Class Option Setup.
  2. On "Time Conflict in class option", select "Do not Check".
  3. Navigate to Setup SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > User ID > Enrollment Security.
  4. Enter the student id.
  5. Check the "Override Time Conflict" checkbox.
  6. As a student, navigate to Manage Classes tile, Class Search and Enroll, Search a class.
  7. Enroll to a class, following the enrollment activity guide instructions.
  8. Search another class with same meeting pattern like the previous enrolled class.
  9. Follow the enrollment activity guide instruction, on "Step 3 of 4 Enroll or Add to Cart", select the "Enroll" option.
  10. Click on Submit.
  11. Observe the message "You cannot add this class due a time conflict with class 'Class Number'. Choose another class"
