On Personal Details Component in FLUID Profile Tile, Clicking Biographic Tab Does Nothing and Page Does not Open, When Security on Personal Tab is Set to Display Only (Doc ID 2852584.1)

Symptoms

Within the Profile tile on the FLUID Student Homepage, on the Personal Details component, when clicking the Biographic tab, nothing happens - the page doesn't open. 

This issue is somewhat similar to that documented in <Note 2849640.1>, except in this case, instead of the page opening and showing no content, it doesn't open at all. This issue also occurs specifically when the security on the first tab of the component, the Personal tab, is set to display only. 

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Signed in as the administrator, navigate to PeopleTools > Security > Permissions and Roles and open Permission List HCCPCSSA6070, or whichever is used to assign access to the FLUID Student Profile tile (SCC_PROFILE_FL). 
  2. Go to Pages tab and click Edit Components on SCC_PROFILE_FL.
  3. Click Edit Pages on Personal Details “SCC_PERSON_DTLS_FL” component.
  4. Enable Display Only checkbox for Personal Details and save.
  5. Login to Student Homepage as the student, and click on the Profile tile. 
  6. Note the Personal Details component, Personal tab is shown and is display only.
  7. Click Biographic tab – nothing happens.
