Symptoms

When performing a look up on the Category field on the Requisition Defaults page, if the user enters part of a valid category then clicks the magnifying glass, an error is being displayed even though the system is still performing a look up and producing results that contain the text entered.

In FLUID ePro Req Defaults, when search Item Category with partial search criteria get error message, "Invalid value - press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values", click Ok, then get matching rows for partial search criteria.

In CLASSIC ePro Req Defaults, when search Item Category with partial search criteria get matching rows for partial search criteria with no error message.

ERROR :

STEPS :
1.Click on fluid eProcurement tile
2.Next click on Create Requisition tile
3.Click Requisition Defaults
4.For existing category ‘CLIMBING’, only key in partial search criteria ‘CLIMB’ then click on magnifying glass
5.Get error message - "Invalid value - press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values"
6.Click OK to above message and can select the Category CLIMBING that gets returned
7.See that Category ‘CLIMBING’ is returned to the Req Defaults page
