Item Categories From Other Than Expanded Catalog Appear When Using Item Category Search Facet During ePro Create Requisition and “Use Only Assigned Catalogs” Checkbox NOT Checked Under Requester Setup (Doc ID 2854684.1)

Symptoms

When a requester has “Use Only Assigned Catalogs” NOT checked, during ePro Create Requisition when the requester selects a link inside one catalog, on the next page the lefthand side displays categories from other than the one catalog that was expanded.

STEPS :
1.When in Requester Setup, the “Use Only Assigned Catalogs” is not checked (Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Requester Setup)
2.From Home, click on eProcurement tile
3.Click next on Create Requisitions tile
4.Under Catalog see list of 4 delivered Catalogs. Expand the 2nd catalog “Computer Equipment”.
5.Then click on Computer Equipment item category under catalog "Computer Equipment"
6.In right side of screen, see various items that coincide with Computer Equipment catalog
7.Click on Computer Accessories under Item Category on left side of screen
8.On right side of screen see 62 items under Computer Equipment (43) and Computer Accessories (19)
9.However on left side of screen see “other” Item Categories such as Camping, Climbing, etc., that are not in catalog Computer Equipment
